About Us

We set up this site to help highlight that the way we use internet enabled devices and services has an impact on our use of resources that impact energy consumption and our environment on this planet.

We believe it is first and foremost our responsibility, as consumers, on how these devices and services are offered as it is our money that those offering want to capture.

It’s an early start to this – and there will be much content on this site which is yet to be fully understood. Some service providers on the internet provide information about the impact of using their services, but this is few and far between. This site hopes to encourage those service providers to give consumers more information and help on deciding how to use their features (or not) with an understanding of the impact on energy consumption and the environment.
